Hello and Welcome!
Techy Joe’s Computer Solutions, LLC has been providing assistive technology equipment and services to users of accessibility since 1999. With a staff of highly trained and experienced professionals, we are committed to providing and integrating assistive technology for the purpose of improving the quality of life for each individual we serve.
For over 26 years, we have been partnering with many different types of organizations including federal and state agencies, non-profit groups, corporations, academic institutions, medical providers such as low vision/retina specialists and occupational therapists, and centers for independence, among others. We also work directly with business professionals or other individuals in the community.
The professional backgrounds of our staff include fields such as Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Counseling, Information Technology, Teaching and Special Education, etc. Our staff has extensive experience with designing and implementing technical solutions to meet todays accessibility challenges, offering creative solutions and providing training to literally thousands of users of accessibility in a professional, friendly, and caring manner.

Low Vision and Blindness:
JAWS, NVDA, ZoomText, Dolphin Guide Connect, Kurzweil, OpenBook, Microsoft Accessibility Tools(Magnifier/Narrator/High Contrast), Apple Accessibility(Magnifier/VoiceOver), Office 365, iPads, iPhones, Android (Magnifier/Talkback), digital talking book devices, refreshable braille displays, braille note takers, low vision and blindness related apps, smart glasses, smart watches, AI related apps, etc.
Physical Disability:
Adaptive Keyboards, Mice, Eye Tracking Systems, Dictation and Voice Control(Siri, Google Assistant, Dragon Professional), Accessibility switches and devices, etc.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing:
Amplified Home Phones/Smartphones, Captioned phones, Alert Systems, Neckloops, Bone Conduction Devices Headsets, Remote Microphones, Bluetooth Streamers, Doorbell and phone signalers, Speech-to-Text Apps and many more.
Brain Injury:

Assistive Technology Evaluation Services
Assistive Technology Evaluations typically include, a one-on-one meeting to assess the current technology platforms used, a demonstration of new technology that could be helpful to the individual, a pre-training skills assessment, an ergonomic evaluation of the workspace, and a discussion with the individual regarding their goals and areas of challenge. Upon completion of your Assistive Technology Evaluation you will recieve written report of our assistive technology recommendations to include the list of equipment and services that are recommneded to help the individual succeed!
Assistive Technology Integration Services typically include on-site integration of the technology recommended, customizing and configuring of the hardware and software provided, any technology repairs needed to the hardware or software of your current devices, pickup, delivery and coordination with repair shops for eqipment, and remote services to configure settings on your devices or provide additioanl technical support.
Assistive Technology Training Services include onsite or remote assistive technology training classes delivered by one of our assistive technology professionals and may include: hands-on or virtual step-by-step instructions, custom tutorials and how to's for the technology platforms covered during the session, keyboard shortcuts, reference materials from the device manufacture, how to guides, FAQ’s and/or pre and post assessments to measure progress.
